Description Surrounded by lush vineyards and olive groves, the Agriturismo Primo Bacio sits, dreamily romantic and remote, in the town of Gazzelli; it appears indeed to have been completely preserved in the middle ages. The name of the house translates as First Kiss, and it has recently been renovated and furnished in typical Ligurian style with very appealing pine furnishings. In the Vigna at the entrance to the village is the sunning area for Primo Bacio guests, equipped with a fine grill. Olive oil and wine can easily be had direct from the resident Agricoltori, or farmers.

San Benedetto Medieval Festival
Historical reenactments, processions and a medieval market will take you back to the year 1625. Happily, the city was spared from the war between Savoy and Taggia, which is why the population of Taggia built a church in honour of the Bishop of Albenga, San Benedetto, who was originally from Taggia and vowed to hold a celebratory festival regularly. The historical events are reenacted and will be followed by a parade through the city of Taggia.
