Pieve Ligure, under the name of Pieve di Sori, used to belong to the neighboring town of Sori. Pieve is today subdivided into Pieve Bassa and Pieve Alta.
The Parrocchia di San Michele Arcangelo church built in baroque style (17th century), and the Oratorio di Sant'Antonio Abate which consists of a Tryptichon of Francesco Sacchi from the 16th century.
Pine groves, orchids and cypress trees grow around Pieve Ligure.
The annual Sagra Della Mimosa takes place on the 2nd Sunday of February.
