The holiday flat is well appointed and its situation close to the Ligurian mountain wine village of Gazzelli enables you to relax away from the bustle. It contains a large modern fitted kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The patio’s the ideal spot to round off the day with a glass of wine or you can swim a few lengths in the swimming pool. You can undertake numerous hikes or bike rides from Gazzelli, through the olive groves and right up to the foothills of the maritime alps. And if the fancy takes you, you can buy the locally grown wine and olive oil of the region in the village itself. The landlord of the property is one of the growers, and if you’re interested in how olive oil is processed, a visit to his oil mill is well worth while.

The ancient town of Chiusanico lies on a ridge, where oak and chestnut woods alternate with hills covered with olive groves. According to a tradition that is corroborated by some researchers, this was the birthplace of Christopher Columbus, although there is no general agreement among historians.

Picturesque mountain town nestled in between vineyards and olive groves. In Gazzelli is a wonderful "Visitation", who was painted by Domenico Piola. She was originally painted for the pilgrimage church Madonna degli Angeli, which lies somewhat isolated south of the town, but is now to be seen in the church San Andrea.
