The small locality of Erli lies in the beatiful countryside of Albenga, just a few kilometers away from von Zuccarello and Castelvecchio. The elegant and free-standing Casa nei Castagni lies in the quarter called Praetto. The house has two bedrooms, a cheerful living room with chimney and daybed, a kitchen as well as a bathroom with shower. You can unwind and enjoy the wonderful view over the mountains while sampling a glass of regional wine and listening to the kids playing happily in the large garden. Skiing and hiking areas are just a few kilometers away.

Erli is a small mountain village which lies in the old Via Sale (Salt Way) in the Albenga hinterland. The place is surrounded by numerous chestnut and other mixed deciduous and coniferous woodlands. The Nervia valley is noted for good fruits (peaches, apricots, grapes) and vegetables (artichokes, asparaguses). In addition, the Pigato (ligurian white wine) is produced in this area.



During autumn one can go mushroom searching in the woods (obtain permission) or go to one of the many village festivals, such as the chestnut festival in Erli or Zuccarello in October.



The area around Erli is a popular walking area since all mountains, e.g. the Monte Alpe (1056 m) or Colle San Bernardo (956 m), lie above the 800 m limit. There is also the beautiful "via Della Contessa" walkway which starts in the area of Costa. Even the Garessio skiing area is only a few kilometers away.
