Description
Villetta Meravigliosa sits quietly above Gorleri and Imperia, and has a beautiful view of the sea and over the bay of Diano Marina. The detached house offers ample space for four people with its double bedroom, eat-in kitchen with studio couch and bathroom with shower. You can have a hearty, quiet breakfast with your family on the spacious terrace, read a book there or enjoy a fine wine while taking in the view. Imperia, with its shops and restaurants, is just a few minutes away.

On the plain that is crossed by the San Pietro river, an area showing signs of Iron Age settlement, there once stood "Lucus Bormani", the sacred wood dedicated to the water god Borman, which in Roman times became an important resting place along the Via Julia Augusta. Saracen incursions in the later Middle Ages forced the inhabitants to take to the highlands, but from the thirteenth century onwards Diano expanded and became especially important as a commercial centre for the sea trading of olive oil.
After the town was destroyed by an earthquake in 1887, reconstruction work gave Diano an appearance typical of a nineteenth-century Riviera town. The parish church of Sant'Antonio Abate on the Via Aurelia dates from 1862: the marble altars date from the seventeenth century and are situated in the neo-classical interior near to frescoes and paintings from the Genoese school, including the "Death of Saint Joseph" by Luca Cambiaso. The civic museum tells the story of Diano Marino through the centuries and preserves archaeological exhibits from pre-Roman and Roman times (including amphorae and vases from a ship that sank off the coast) and objects from the Napoleonic era and the Risorgimento.
Since Diano was rebuilt, tourism has been the undisputed vocation of a town which offers sandy beaches surrounded by Mediterranean maquis. With its tourist harbour and facilities and the opportunity to practise a variety of sports (from traditional diving to go-karting, bowling and minigolf), Diano Marina is the heart of the Gulf. If you wish, you can take a boat that passes by the most important locations along the Riviera dei Fiori and takes you to do some whale-watching off the coast.
A great event is the is a marvellous display of flowers during the solemn time of Corpus Domini (between May and June): the streets of the town are covered with flowers arranged in special patterns.

Das Haus war super ausgestattet, es war viel meht da als erwartet, ink Knobi Presse, Weingläser, Weierbecher und und und. 1 der Gasplatten hat nicht funktioniert, was für uns 2 kein Problem war. Vorne das Dach fertig machen, damit man auch im Regen draußen bleiben kann. Einfahrt so machen, dass man mit dem Auto drehen kann, und nicht rückwarts den Hang wieder hinauf fahren muss. damit Sonst war die Ausstattung schön, ein bisschen verwildert, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Die wunderschöne Landschaft erkundigen.

Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre eine Klimaanlage Gartenliegen wären nicht schlecht gewesen!Ansonsten war alles nach unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit... Steinchenstrand in Cervo(Diano Marina) unterhalb der großen Kirche ist sehr zu Empfehlen, da er nichts kostet und man von 12:30-15Uhr kostenlos parken kann. Sehr schöner Strand!

Schade, dass die Pergola noch nichtt bewachsen war, kommt ja aber noch. Insgesamt hat uns die Anlage gut gefallen. Oneglia und Pieve: schön, ohne großen Rummel. Bin alles losgeworden. Grüße an unsere nette Betreuerin.

Tout était bien nous aimons beaucoup flâner dans les rues de Porto Maurizio ainsi qu'à son port. Nous aimons aussi les quais et le port d'Oneglia votre agence nous a permis de continuer à aller à Imperia sans devoir aller à l'hôtel ou au camping depuis la vente de notre petite maison et nous apprécions beaucoup cela.merci

Vermitteln Sie den Vermietern, das der Reiz der Menschen und der Landschaft um ein vielfaches mehr zur Geltung kommt und gewürdigt werden kann, wenn auf Unnötiges verzichtet wird (siehe Kunststoff, TV etc.), weniger ist entschieden mehr und keine Anleihen bei dem billigen "Toscana-Gesäusel", das hat Ligurien nicht nötig!

wenn man dort oben wohnt und den urlaub verbringt , dann möchte man nichts anderes mehr sehen , einfach nur geniessen Wir werden das Objekt für nächstes Jahr 2 Wochen gerne wieder mieten , teilen Sie uns bitte noch die offenen Termine mit. die ausstattung ist ueblicher standard, den wir schaetzen und gewohnt sind aus div. anderen objekten. es gibt nichts zu bemaengeln, auch wissend, dass fast jeder andere ansprueche hat. unsere speziellen ansprueche erfuellen wir uns selbst: in zwei kontainern fuehren wir besteckteile, glaeser und eine vollautomat. espressomaschine mit. mit vorhandener einrichtung und diesen dingen sind wir bestausgestattet und rundum zufrieden. fazit: alles was notwenig ist, ist in ihren haeusern bereits vorhanden. fuer den luxus muss jede/r selbst sorgen. und das ist gut so. auf jeden fall die cascina rio rocca. das war ein ding!! die empfehlung ihres freundlichen assistenten hat mir sicherlich ein kilo gewichtszunahme beschert. doch die kueche war perfekt. das olivenmuseum carli kennt jeder, kann man aber auch mehrfach besuchen, immer empfehlenswert. ansonsten baden in ventimiglia an unendlich langem freien strand mit duschen. albenga sehenswert, bordighera dito. diano marina zum umfahren. dann das hinterland, nur wenige kilometer weg von der kueste und alles ist ganz anders, einfach schoen. tanti salute e ancora: mille grazie !!!! (bitte nicht lachen, ich kanns nicht besser)
